It is with great sadness to all of the chess problem world that Milan has passed away after an illness.
The list of the good deeds he has contributed is partially reproduced in the linked thread on his website matplus.net
Very rarely a problemist is so universally known and beloved like Milan. He was an enthusiast, a connoisseur, a philantropist, someone who united a broken world and who wanted to contribute so much more to chess problems. His loss is irreplacable.

I'm sorry to hear that. I had been using problems from the book that he co-wrote with Kari Valtonen, Encyclopedia Of Chess Problems: Themes and Terms, for Gary's Gems, http://www.chessproblem.net/viewforum.php?f=44, as well as for other posts on this site.
